How long will it take me to complete the online application?
Designed with your busy schedule in mind, the online application is simple and easy to complete. The Getting Started Page of the application provides you with a checklist of the information that you will need to complete the application. You will want to gather needed information prior to beginning the process. Once you have all the necessary items, it should take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete and submit the application.

What information will I need to complete the application?
You will need to have the following information available.

Arrow Graphic General Information - Legal and DBA (Doing Business As) name. Business address, and name and title of legal business signer. Business telephone number, fax number (if applicable) and contact name. Your Store Identifier, E-mail address, and Internet site address.
Arrow Graphic Business/Storefront Information - Zoning and physical store location. Type of ownership, state incorporated, and federal tax ID. The date your business began, and what your business sells.
Arrow Graphic Sales Data & Business Information - Totals of annual cash and credit card sales, and percentage of credit card sales by mail order, telephone order and in store purchases, Credit card refund and submission policies. Delivery information. Method of advertising. Businesses with credit card volume over $500,000 will be required to fax the signed Terms and Conditions agreement, along with additional financial data.
Arrow Graphic Current Credit Card Processing Information - Name, address and phone number of processor. Merchant number.
Arrow Graphic Business Owner Information - Names, addresses and phone numbers of first/second owner, partner or officer. Title and social security number of person(s) listed.
Arrow Graphic Banking Reference Information - Bank name and address. Contact name and phone number. Date the banking relationship opened and average daily balance of the account. Total dollar amount of credit available. Total dollar of business and personal accounts.
Arrow Graphic Funding Information - ABA and DDA numbers (have a voided or blank business check available to retrieve this information).


How long does the application approval process take?
Once submitted, all applications will be reviewed electronically by our credit decision system. If automatically approved, you can process credit card transactions shortly thereafter. If additional review of your application is deemed necessary, you will be notified of a decision within 1 to 3 business days. Upon completion of the credit review process, Chase Paymentech will contact you via e-mail with the final status of your application.

What happens after my application is approved?
You will receive an email confirming the approval of your merchant account. Within a few days you will receive an email containing instructions and key information on how to access your Orbital Virtual Terminal.

Is my application information secure?
Yes, your application information is encrypted and secured.

Who will review the information on my application?
Our merchant underwriting and activation group will review your application. The information you provide is kept confidential.

Is there a fee for processing my application?
Once your application is approved, there will be a one-time setup fee (which will be debited from your checking account). If your application is declined, there is no fee.

Can I fax a copy of the application in?
Unfortunately, you cannot fax a copy of the application in. It must be submitted online.

How do I establish an ecommerce merchant account?
There are multiple ways to establish an ecommerce merchant account. If you are looking to establish a web-based storefront, our payment processing is fully integrated with a number of online store building partners. Once you've completed your storefront, you can apply online for an ecommerce merchant application through one of our partners. If you are a retail merchant with card-not-present transactions and do not need an Internet storefront, you can apply online for payment processing.

How long does it take to set up a merchant account?
The time it takes to establish a merchant account depends on several factors, including: type of merchant account you are applying for (e.g., retail, direct market or ecommerce), completeness of the application submitted, accuracy of the information provided and any required additional paperwork.
